MAYA-RAISE YOUR HAND

HAIR COLOR by SARAH CONNER

Raise your hand if you’re like Maya and tired of your ombre!  The trend has definitely started to wear out it’s welcome, but that doesn’t mean you have to have an extreme change.  Use those already bright ends to your advantage (so that there’s no need to over-process your hair) by connecting those blonde tips to your deeper roots.

Viola,’ just like that you’re back on point to having beautiful natural looking hair color well beyond yesterday’s trend.

COURTNIE H.-CONNECT THE GROWOUT

HAIR COLOR by SARAH CONNER

Courtnie had been sporting the ombre look for quite sometime and was ready for a change that would remain natural looking.  We opted to connect her ombre so there’s no longer a strong distinction between dark roots and blonde ends.  It’s a more fluid look… more up to date.  Less ombre is more these days!

MARYKAY M.-BlONDE IT UP

HAIR COLOR by SARAH CONNER

Marykay had been sporting a rooty blonde on the ombre side when she sought me out via ON COLOUR GROUND to bring more of a connection to her color.  A request that’s becoming more and more popular as of late.  Dare I say people are getting bored with their ombre?  A round of highlights was all she needed to blonde her up a notch and bring some fluidity to her color, while still keeping it on the natural side with just a barely there hint of root.

Thanks for following the blog, Marykay and wish you the best of luck in San Francisco!
