DIMENSIONLESS

Prime examples of what I was talking about in the post a few days back in regards to less being more.  Very little highlighted dimension can be seen on this rich dark brunette beauty nor on this pretty little bronzed blonde and I’m 100% digging it.  What are your thoughts?

COCO KILLS

Coco Rocha is killing it with her shiny rich solid hues of amber auburn.  Gorgeous hair and a prime example of how times are a changin.’  Less dimension is more these days!

ROCK N’ ROLL ROSE

Simply obsessed over this rose gold blonde and its lack of dimension.  Perfect for living in the now.

MAYA-RAISE YOUR HAND

HAIR COLOR by SARAH CONNER

Raise your hand if you’re like Maya and tired of your ombre!  The trend has definitely started to wear out it’s welcome, but that doesn’t mean you have to have an extreme change.  Use those already bright ends to your advantage (so that there’s no need to over-process your hair) by connecting those blonde tips to your deeper roots.

-and-

Viola,’ just like that you’re back on point to having beautiful natural looking hair color well beyond yesterday’s trend.

DEEP BRONDE OR BUST

Here it is again… the not quite dark blonde blonde+ not quite rich brunette=bronde.

Could this be the new ombre?

JILLIAN F.-EXTREME TO SUBTLE OMBRE

HAIR COLOR by SARAH CONNER

Jillian found me through ON COLOUR GROUND to transform her obviously two-toned ombre look into a more subtle ombre look…a more and more common request in regards to the trend these days.  All that’s needed for this, is fine highlights to connect the roots to the already brightened ends topped off with a color gloss to enhance the wanted tones.  Easy breezy, beautiful hair color for Jillian!

1960’S OMBRE

Color for thought: Do you think Michelle Phillips of the Mama’s and the Papa’s tried as hard in the 60’s to achieve her ombre do as we do today?

PEGAH N.- FADE TO GOLDEN

HAIR COLOR by SARAH CONNER

HAIR CUT by ALISSA TIETGEN SMITH

When Pegah came in she had a slight natural fade to her color and was ready to go big or go home…make it obvious! A full tip-out gave her the fading gradation from her dark natural root into sunkissed dark warm golden blonde.  Pegah proves that the ombre trend is the trend that keeps on giving as it’s completely softened her look and looks beautiful with her cut…. and while I’ve been connecting many clients’ roots to ends these days, ombre is still a popular request!
