WILD SUMMER

First let me say, who doesn’t water the lawn topless, duh?

Second, I love raw, dirty, beachy, gritty, textured wild summer hair.

The last pic.- ugh, so good.

KIM C.- GOING TO THE CHAPEL

HAIR COLOR by SARAH  CONNER

CUT/STYLE by FRANKIE HERNANDEZ

Kim’s big day was rapidly approaching post her hair color appointment.  Needless to say that leaves no room for error or dislike…no problem.  After all, working under pressure is my forte`.  To make her bridal picture ready I brightened up her blonde accentuating her locks with ribbony highlights so her color would really “pop” in photos.  Kim’s refreshed highlights coupled with Frankie’s polished cut was just what she needed to transform her into the glowing bride she deserves to be!

EFFORTLESSLY SEXY

Her rooty golden blonde is perfectly easy and the style of her waved bob is just plain sultry.  So hot.

INDIAN SUMMER

I don’t know exactly why, but her hair reminds me of the colors you’d see in an Indian summer.  The medium golden and honey wheat hues against the deeper root is natural with an edge.  A little bit country with the flavor of rock n’ roll.

IT’S STILL HOT

Here it is, the end of September and it’s still hot in L.A.  90’s hot!  Just like this hair- rooty goldenness with an end of summer tousled texture.   I wouldn’t be afraid to be inspired by a few decades past.  Just sayin’.

COUNTRY BLONDE

This is perfection.  Summer buttery country blonde- solid with roots- making it so ethereal yet strong.

A BLONDE’S WORKOUT

A solid golden blonde with just enough dark root throws it back retro (the styling helps give off this vibe too, of course).   This is gorgeous… this is shiny… this is where I’d like to see hair color going… perhaps I am bored with dimension today?!

KELSEY FAIRHURST-ROOTS BEGONE

HAIR COLOR by SARAH CONNER

CUT/STYLE by ALESSANDRA SAMAN

Kelsey hails from Ohio and had been in LA on an internship and wanted to return home with a new do.  Simply letting her hair grow for months without a touchup gave her a pseudo ombre with a harsh line of demarcation.  Our first step was to erase that line and add a bit of warmth to her natural base to connect it to her mids and ends.  I then added some brightness and dimension by tipping her out.  Now her look is more cohesive and has a flow to it.  Perfect low maintenance and a return to the midwest.

ROOT BUTTER

What we have here is a beautiful buttery blonde with hint of artificial root.  Enough to keep the brightness around the face while having a shadow cast at the crown.  Not going to lie, I’m kind of obsessed with it…it’s fresh and on point for rooty look!

DEEP GOLDEN SUMMER

Not much more of an explanation needed here beyond the title… just got one question for you though.  Did you achieve your summer color goal… get to it!  Your days are numbered and then we will be onto the fall trends!
