STEPHANIE R.-SEASON FOR A CHANGE

HAIR COLOR by SARAH CONNER

HAIR CUT/STYLE by ALESSANDRA SAMAN

Long hair is great sometimes and ombre was great sometimes, but now together, it just seems to drag a person down.  To that I say, make a change!  Brighter golden blonde highlights and a refreshed length brighten Stephanie’s skin tone, her smile, her eye color, her everything.  See what a change can do, it’ll make you glow!

MAGGIE C.-STRAWBERRY COPPER

HAIR COLOR by SARAH CONNER

Over being a traditional blonde, Maggie was ready to venture into more strawberry tones of blonde with a hint of copper, which I must say, I’m absolutely loving on her.  The new color gives her hair a vibrant shine that glistens in the sun.  What a gorgeous head of hair!  jealous.

I HEART GINGER

Bringing someone to their full ginger potential has been my favorite thing to do lately.  There are so many tonal values to choose from and when the “right” red is placed on the “right” skin tone-WOW!  It’s as if magic happened!

Things to keep in mind when contemplating which ginger tones are right for you-

skin tone-pale, ivory, fair tend to be the most naturally complementing tones with red hues.  Olive tones or tanned skin, generally, not so ginger friendly.

eye color-light eyes go well with most coppery or strawberry tones while darker eyes are better suitable to pull off stronger/deeper red tones.   Though if it’s the perfect tone, eye color can go either way too.

freckles-a lot? a little? are they light in color or strong and dominate?  Do you picture your freckles with softer strawberry red tones or due see them with something darker such as a rich red-brown?

make-up: often needs to be changed to accommodate your tone of red

wardrobe: what colors do you wear most often?  do they compliment your ginger?

Happy gingering!

STRAWBERRY GOLD

Anniek Kortleve’s strawberry hair is almost fascinating in the different lighting set-ups.  I think it’s a combination of the subtly strong color, the shine, the sleek, and the one length of her hair.  Love it!

For all my colored gingers of the world, remember to do color glosses in between root re-touch appointments so your color maintains its sleek and shine too.
